Just so you know, these shower lilies may not be made from plastic that is safe for use in aquariums. It's just as cheap to buy a mesh filter bag from an LFS.
Hi I tried and realised that there is a easier and ultra cheap way to keep your filter medias together.
If you have a old shower lily. Uncoil it. You will see that the whole pc is a mesh sock. so just cut to desire length, tie a knot at one end put in your media and tie up. If Kiasu. Double bag them la.

hmm.. I'll let you all know if there was any deaths in my tank.. got 3 ranchus 3 butterfly goldfish? 3 suckers 2 kk parrot in that env now.. that lily i use was a Used one that gave way. Im looking for almond leaves. anyidea where to find them..
If you did use this shower scrub/lily for the aquarium, a brand new one would have been 'safer'. A used one would have come in contact with soap or some other bath material.
Sea Almond aka Ketapang leaves are common all over Singapore. It's a matter of identifying the leaf. However, to be safe, you can always buy from an LFS. I get mine from C328 if I need any, but since you're in Punggol, perhaps Seaview should have them in stock.

I don't think this net last long. Last time I use it to tie moss on rocks but it disintegrate quite fast.
