I don't think he will bother to control.
If they are alive and can produce shrimplets, why bother?

As for Pico Tanks is possible to have shrimps but with good filter and limited number of shrimps.
When population grow, you will need to remove the excess shrimps.

Sgshrimp bro, just admit you made a wrong remark and stop challenging everyone.
Don't make such remarks that you can rear any shrimps and breed in tau huey tubs.
Indirectly giving other new hobbist here wrong impression or info or even try to inspire them to follow you.
Lets treat this hobby more serious, if you want to keep shrimps keep them properly in a tank and give them a better condition and environment to live in. Don't be so cruel and keep them in tubs and test their survival limits. It's still a pet with life, thou money can replace them.
If you disregard this simple respect in keeping shrimps, i think you should not be in this forum.

First of all I have to take back what i post and say I am very sorry to all the bro and sis who keep animals as pet. As bro navanod has lighten me when he post this. I will not do such a thing to even the yamatos that I keep to clean the alge, at less I house them in L size satellite breeding box and feed them every 2 day. This is cruel to them is just like being lock up in a cell. Even the lab mice had a better living place.

But for sgshrimp!!! You are a little arragont kid that need to be BAN in all wedsite. STOP GIVING WRONG INFO TO NEWBIE AND ANYONE OUT THERE!!! Why I am so angry is I have been given wrong info in another hobbiest blog before.

Once again I am really really sorry for the last post. And I back out the deal again.

Re: Need advise on a pico shrimp tank

Dear Shrimp lovers, please don't encourage Sgshrimp to take up any challenge to keep precious BKK, WR, PRLs in tubs.
I beg all of you to stop this, even if Sgshrimp picked up the challenge or even proof all of us wrong that it is possible to be done. What do we gain?
Don't tell me all of you will be keeping them in tubs to breed?

Don't treat all this precious shrimps like a toy just to spite each other and proof each other right or wrong.
Please don't even think of keeping them in tubs please! Please respect life and value all this beautiful shrimps.
Please rear them in proper tanks, and share nice pictures of your shrimps living happily in your tank.

Re: Need advise on a pico shrimp tank

That is what we are trying hard to discourage bur apparently the young sgshrimps master think other wise. Did you read he is saying us posting nonsense.... He say he is helping to promote this hobby but it does sound like the opposite to me more like getting others to help his pocket.. Do you believe what he said getting livestock from Lfs and say he sell them cheaper than Lfs crap of bull to me. I just didn't want to tell him off here I know how much did uncle let go to him. And yet he have the cheek to post a challenge and twisting his own words.

I don't know the rest but I myself har condemn keeping poor skimp in those Eco-system and our little reseller here is telling the shrimps community here that no need a expensive one tau Huey tub already can do it but must be very experience in another words in the whole shrimp community he is the very 1st that claim he can control the parameter well especially small setup sorry not even a setup but tau Huey tub. So maybe we should give him a title shrimp revolution envoy! Master of parameter in tau Huey tub breeding.

Such contests are just a "race to the bottom". To see who can get away with doing the worst. There is nothing to be gained whatever the results.
I'm glad bro Zenith saw the pointlessness of it. I agree with him that we should stop feeding the topic.

This thread is totally OT and the TS had not log in since Friday. This thread probably will not help him much now

Re: Need advise on a pico shrimp tank

I think we all should apologize to Snottycat for hijacking his/her thread for ending up into a dispute here.
Let's stop this pointless argument, I urge any mod to lock or remove this thread from further discussion.
Snottycat can restart a new thead and so we can share some proper advise and opinion for the pico tank topic.

Re: Need advise on a pico shrimp tank

How about we change this topic to <<Tao Hue Tub breeding discussion>> as most of the topics involve expert sgshrimp's tao hue tub breeding technics ?

Don't have to remove at all.
