    Hi Guys

After trying on the calculator,i feel that my required dosage of KNO3,K2SO4 and KH2PO4 is rather too much.

Want to make sure before i actually do it just incase i might interpret it wrongly.

My tank is 90x45 x 15cm of water change each time. The required dosage in table spoon base on the ideal calculation are as follows.

Using 500ml for stock solution and 61 litre( Tank size), will get

    15 tableSp of KNO3 for Nitrate 5.06ppm!

The rest is just ridiculous to carry on. Can somebody enlighten me?

    Thanks.

    Stephen

    Fertilisation

    Hi,

You wouldn't be able to desolve that much into 500 ml. You might only get about 4 tablespoon into 250 ml which much effort. I think you might want to check the version of the calculator. The older version is wrong. I am a victim of it. lol. Download the latest before trying. And btw, you shouldn't suddenly increase your stuff in the water.. it stresses your creatures. Do it slowly over a period of time... say about 1 week or more.
    Cheerio,
