    Hi,

Im a beginner who started a planted tank quite recently. I have collected some singapore moss, i believe... it is from the streets around my block. I can grow them on soil but I was wondering if anybody here tried using it submerged in a planted tank.

    Re: Singapore Moss

Singapore Moss has been in the hobby for some time now. In aquatic conditions it will creep on your driftwood and rocks but it will produce some extra long strands that jut out from the scape. Not exactly the nicest moss for a scape, but one of the easiest moss to work with. Just don't expect a beautiful scape once it starts growing.

this moss looks very different when grown submerged, not exactly like the ones you see around your estate
