    Hi gents,

I am trying to fertilize my Low-Tech planted tank according to Tom Barr's regimen.
    He states the following:
While trace mixes can be added, I decided to use SeaChem Equilibrium instead.
It has Fe and Mn as well as Ca/K/Mg/SO4.
I will add about 1/4 teaspoon per 20 gal tank once every week or two.
This greatly enhances the growth of the plants.
I also will add about 1/8" and 1/32" teaspoon of KNO3 and KH2PO4 respectively once a week or two.
Since here in Singapore the use of KNO3 is restricted I have learnt that people substitute it with Calcium Nitrate - Ca(NO3)2.4H2O - and Potassium Sulphate - K2SO4 -
Now if I take the fertilizer calculator, according to Tom Barr for 20G tank I have these ppm values:
    1/8 tsp KNO3: K 3.32, N 1.19, NO3 5.27
    1/32 tsp KH2PO4: K 0.66, P 0.53, PO4 1.61

My understanding is that I should combine the Calcium Nitrate and Potassium Sulphate together with the Potassium dihydrogen phosphate to get to the above mentioned values.
I have worked out these doses:
    1/16 tsp Ca(NO3)2.4H2O: NO3 5.43 Ca 1.75
    1/12 tsp K2SO4: K 3.16
    1/30 tsp KH2PO4: K 0.71, P 0.56, PO4 1.72

Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks
