    Hi Bros,

Anybody using this brand of canister filter branded "LifeTech"?
As suggested by the sticker on the canister it is labelled as 1000L/H.
I will be rearing shrimps in a 2ft tank using this filter as well as adding in a chiller (still dunno which model to buy)
how is it in compare with ehiem brands? or should i just buy a new ehiem brand filter?

    Pls kindly advise. Thanks.

    Re: LifeTech Canister Filter

    Hi timeless
this canister is really over-power your 2ft tank, best recommend is 400-800L/H. If you intent to use for vivarium 1000L/H is highly recommended!
Franky speaking to me all canisters work, as long it does filter my tank well. If you want Ehiem or Jebo or whatever brands, its how your budget is deep enough to spare. Of course Ehiem is the BMW of all the canister, its well known for reliable, quiet and save electricity efficiency but the prepare to fork SGD a few hundreds for this Ehiem.
    cheers

    Re: LifeTech Canister Filter

I have not come across the brand you mentioned before but with a chiller in the line up, I believe that the filter is all right for your tank. Also, do note that the overall dimension of the tank plays a part as well.

For reliable canister brand, I strongly advocate ehiem and Tetra.

No doubt that the initial deployment cost is higher than other brands, what you will get in return is peace of mind and stability that no amount of money can buy.

I have been using them for all my tanks and they have never failed me.

    Regards.
