Apisto on GEX tank

Hi fellow forumers/hobbyist, i would like to seek some help since im new on fish-keeping, recently bought a GEX glassterior 200H tank. Can i keep a pair of apisto on this tank? Currently have some A. Viejita and A. Caca..thanks a lot

what's the size of this tank? it's best to keep them in a minimum 1 feet tank.

Tank dimension is 21.5x21x35.5

Tall tank not exactly suitable for Apistogramma. They are best kept in a broader tank for more bottom area, as they are territorial and remain largely close to the bottom for most part.

I ever kept a pair of Caca Triple Red and Viejita in a 30cm cube tank and they can live together without much fighting and aggression. But my apisto are the so-call more gentle kind and for those aggressive type like Agassizi, the result may not be the same.

Maybe i will house on this tank my Brevis pair and get new tank for my apistos..thank you guys for your inputs..

I am house my Adoketas in Gex Size M tanks and so far all seems well.
