i have a 3 ft tank..do i need to trim the roots or any tips on how to maintain or keep these guys from over growing?
do you guys end up having long hair algae growing on the hornworts? is that normal /??

cons: if frogbits covered surface, water agitation at the surface might reduce alot and mosquito breed easily without u knowing.
too much also will prevent lights from reaching the bottom, thus your plants below the surface may not do well.
pros: absorb nitrates and shrimps like to cling onto any plants
seems like a lot of cons instead pros in having hornworts in my tank.

Pros: apparently can out-compete algae, which is very important if you have high-bioload.
Seems it would be beneficial for my seems I have heavy bioload in my tank![]()
