Problem with manual co2 regulator

Hi I bought a 2nd 2L cylinder from AQ classified and the regulator that came along with it is the one with the knob, the knob which Is really sensitive for my liking, just a few mm can make a difference in 1bps to 10 20 bps, currently I'm at 1bps but after 30 mins or so it's down to zero, no output at all, my best guess is that the pressure drops over time or perhaps the ambience temperature is the culprit , please advise me on my current situation
