    Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me how much light do i need for my 12gallons/42litres tank?

Currently i'm having 2 normal lights with 7200k and 11watts each, will it be sufficient for my planted tank?

What kind of things would be reccommended? I was reading up on LED lights but not very sure if it will work..

    Hi Eviltrain,

I'm not sure whether my plants are high or low demanding but about 50% of my plants are moss.

I'm having a couple of moss ball, java moss as well as riccia moss..

    Re: Lighting Question

if base on the plants you list down, the light you have now should be enough.

    Re: Lighting Question

But none of my plants are pearling at all, wonder if something is wrong with my light source.

Currently running on pressurized CO2 and my drop checker is Green in color, so i believe there shouldn't be any problem with my CO2.

As my tank is a 1.5ft tank, i'm having problems looking for suitable T5HO lights, between T5s (aquaticlife or Nova extreme) and LEDs (marineland) which with be more recommended actually?

    Does it matter?

As long as your plants are growing fine, I think that's the most important thing. Right.
