Recently bought a new 3FT tank. Thinking of using it to keep mini kois.

Compared the prices for a Eheim 2026 and 2075. 2075 is way off my budget and a Jebo seems to cost much cheaper. Still undecided which should I go for.

    Any advise?

I would say that the 2026 or 2028 would be a perfect candidate for your 3ft tank. This is dependent however on what you intend to stock the tank with. If it is with mini koi, which are massive poop makers, you will probably be better off with the 2028, or any canister that has more trays for biological and mechanical media. Jebao/Boyu may seem like reasonable brands to replace Eheim filters, but only if you know where to find their spare parts easily.

thanks everyone for the great advice. Was unable to get 2028 off the shelves. Somehow, I was told eheim has stopped production for this model, not sure how true is that. Tried a few LFS and they are out and was advised to get the 2075 which is so called a replacement model for 2028.

Is the 2028 suction able to cope with massive bio waste from the mini koi?

for a 322, tetra 120 is a good value for money filter after ehiem. The parts are also easily available.
