Nice rescaping, wondering if combining bringing the 2 side wood (pointing up) closer to the center piece and have them in different depth will be good, as feel that the layout is too symmetrical

    Just my 5 cents comment

What a fantastic scape! It looks great!!

One comment.. The plant on the extreme right front looks out of place hehe.. Maybe plant it behind the wood instead of in front of it?

    Apart from that.. Fantastic!

Ever thought of carpeting the entire foreground with jap hairgrass? It looks nice bare as it is, like an island! With the jap hairgrass it will look more connected.. But i guess it's what look you prefer!

As for fauna, put like 4-5 coral red pencil fish! Also maybe a centrepiece fish like 3-4 angels? That will make your tetra school tighter although you may have to replenish the tetras every now and then haha! Also another very under-rated fish is the sparkling gouramis. Good specimen of these little fellas are really very striking!

    Re: My lazy heaven

The trunk on the right from your old setup is magnificent...notice that you've laid it horizontally somehow obscuring its charm.
But still the layout is very nice indeed. Kudos!!

ThAnks all bro for the nice comment... Shall shift the plant on the right than...

Bro ecaylte... Would like to add in angel but worry it might nip on the plant... As I have angel on my previous scape and the angel nip on the plant and uproot my plant... If adding angel what species would you reccomend...

As for foreground still thinking what foreground are easier and grow faster...

Look very focus in the current tank. However, the 3 woods pointing outward might constitute as "poison arrow" in fengshui term. Other than that, it looks very bright and organised just in time for the CNY water dragon year.

    Re: My lazy heaven

Your scape looks very nice. My only issue is with the 3 pointed points of the wood. I feel it's best if you could add another wood with more branches into the scape cos even if you were to bring the 3 points closer together, it'll still look rather piercing to the eye.

For centrepiece fish..... Maybe you can consider a few pieces of german ram?

You placing the diffuser right below the inlet of your canister? Doesn't your canister choke up air?

    Re: My lazy heaven

As long as you have a diffuser or atomiser, the canister will not choke. Futhermore there's media inside the canister to squash the co2 bubble up futher.

You might see the canister burping out the co2. Once there is a pocket of air, the media might get dry instead of being submerged in water. You may be able to support a lower population of beneficial bacteria as opposed to a canister that do not have an air pocket. But as always, your mileage may vary.

    Re: My lazy heaven

I will not be unduly worried about co2 pocket in the canister because I use solenoid the co2 will be cut off at night, co2 trapped can be dissolved.
I do canister maintenance every two months, never see any air pocket, even if there is, the maintenance will have cleared it.
In a planted tank, the BB are also in the soil, sand, Ada power sand, lava rocks, glass panel so no need to worry about minmal BB in canister.

    Re: My lazy heaven

I would like to add that having air pockets in the canister will in time to come spoil the impellor. Though the air pocket is only in the filter for a short period of time before it is purched out, this constant accumulation and purching of air that is trapped in the filter will definately cause the impellor's life span to be reduced.
