I bought the fish from a fellow member last week and would like to check whether it is the Common Kribs and to show some pictures of it. They are currently in a 1 feet tank with just rocks and US Fissiden. The male likes the cave-like rock display a lot and is always in it, creating a concave hole. Maybe he is making a love nest for the female.

Yes, this is Pelvicachromis pulcher. However, the female is exceptionally colorful, so maybe these are wild-type, nobody knows. Very nice pair though, and definitely in spawning mood.

Yes, they do look to be of better quality than the usual LFS kribs. could it perhaps have been crossed with the taeniatus morphs?

Yes, they are quite nice. I lost the female last week, anyone interested to get the male from me? I have about 100-120 fry from 2 spawns of about 3 months and 5 months old now also, I will sell some to reduce bioload too.
