Yes, this is Pelvicachromis pulcher. However, the female is exceptionally colorful, so maybe these are wild-type, nobody knows. Very nice pair though, and definitely in spawning mood.
I bought the fish from a fellow member last week and would like to check whether it is the Common Kribs and to show some pictures of it. They are currently in a 1 feet tank with just rocks and US Fissiden. The male likes the cave-like rock display a lot and is always in it, creating a concave hole. Maybe he is making a love nest for the female.

Yes, they are quite nice. I lost the female last week, anyone interested to get the male from me? I have about 100-120 fry from 2 spawns of about 3 months and 5 months old now also, I will sell some to reduce bioload too.
