Where is it dripping from? Its not normal for a chiller to leak
the water will drip out from the front casing every time when the chillers kick off is only a small amount of water thats why i was thinking izzit the chiller faulty![]()
Hi bro It's not normal for chiller to leak.
Can share what temperature you set?
hi it was set to 23
it maybe time for servicing... mine, a HC-100, was leaking last time, not from the piping, i.e. tank water, but somewhere on those coils. so sent it for servicing and gone after that. sometime to do with the efficiency of the cooling agent, like our home air-con system thing. not expert in this area but a servicing may help you to resolve it if problem is similar.
Front casing? I suggest you service or replace the unit before something bad happens.
Hi bro I'm no expert, maybe you can try to increase the temperature to 25 degrees (if livestocks permit) and observe any leaks after the chiller cut out.
Bro , how is bro Humble suggestion ? Any more leak ? I am going to set up my tank and using a second hand CL 280,worried the same thing might happen to me too .
