    Thanks bro chee very interesting info I know I buy veggie or fruit in normal section orginic is just too costly an overprice to me haha. Now that this info at least can answer back.

    I had actually done some checks on the local "organic" produce available. I'm pretty sure that the NTUC Pasar brand of organic food would truly contain no pesticides or artificial fertilizers.

    "Organic" food from other supermarket may not be free of pesticides, although I could not verify that.

    Soon NTUC will run out of organic spinach!

    Actually it should depend on your luck too. Never know, the packing area might have been the same area used for the normal veggies. I doubt they will have a special area to do otherwise. Wet veggies can easily transfer pesticides.

    I would not risk my precious shrimps though. Not like the organic spinach grows in shrimps natural habitat after all.

    Luckily got mine from NTUC....

    I believe in Singapore AVA will be more strict with the inspection of the organics vege.
