Nice setup you have there.

Is that BGA growing on the gravel?
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
very nice.. what fishes do you intend to put in there?
i cant think of any yet...any input?
Probably...........Shorten light period, Dim the lights or soften the light by covering it with a translucent media. The scape is nice and pretty easy to maintain for lazy people. But it is a difficult scape to maintain for beginners.
PS: Anubias are never easy....to me. They grow so soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolowww

I am very sure, BGA is not because of co2 and lightning issue. The flow is not good enough with insufficient nitrate for my tank. The good "bacteria" is losing to the BGA "bacteria"
Thanks bro ...if i shorten light period and dim the lights, my anubias may not be happy of that....It is because, i would like to boost the growth of anubias with light and fertilizer
..... i am sorry if my words offend u, but i still think this is an easy scape
.... main point is only hardscape
...low maintenance just that the growth is always slow ... thus, just enjoy ...as time goes by

Not offending. : )
I think Anubias don't have the ability to grow fast in submerse with strong light and fertilizer unless one is referring to emersed. Before they can actually grow - the algae will most likely come in and destroy the scape. very difficult

even in immerse state, anubias can't grow fast. Just sharing, i tried many methods, e.g. immersed in high humidity condition. with temperature differs vary from day and night. Giving a lot of fertilizer.
In submersed state, i can only boost up to a leaf in every 3 days. Hi light, lots of co2 and lots of fertilizer, and nutrition inside the substrate......... free of algae
the following is what i get from immerse
immersed scape:
anu caladifolia
Anu nana
Anu petite

Nice nana and nice scape there... You just make nana look so wonderful and useful and look pretty...
Good fish ain't cheap... Cheap fish ain't gd...
Breeding Apisto inca and Apisto guttata...
Anubias is one of very wonderful plant ....one of my favorite too ..It feel's good to have it jumbo size
easiest plant to used, yet position and matching must be well placedotherwise algae will follow up
Very nice scape you got going there! Thick greenery that complements the wood and river gravel. Just a question, what did you tie your ferns on to? An elongated piece of driftwood?
Need something to scratch that itchy hand of mine.
Don't act smart. Be smart!
Marvellous! For this reason, I took particular interest in this thread. i think you are the only one (Singapre) who concentrate on anubias. Though anubias is hardy (according to books), their cost is still very high. no prize for guessing

Anubia Nana is one of the most hated plant to amano?
