Following up on the news of the muscular stonefish (see sticky thread), can such developments in biological research persuade more people that the earth's biodiversity (meaning the sum of its creatures and plants, 90% of which we know little) is probably worth much more alive and well, as a source of inspiration and model for man's own pursuits, than as mere food or afterthoughts?
