Id this worm

anyone knows what type of worm is this ? thats hc leaves for size comparison.

looks like a mosquito larvae? or some sort of larvae.
i had damselfly larvae and caterpillars before. just flush them all down the toilet :/ the damselfly one looks really intimidating!

Probably crane fly larvae. They are harmless filter feeders and the flies don't bite. Look very similar to mosquito.

The jaws remind me of the larva of a diving beetle (Dytiscidae). Does this 'worm' have 6 legs as well?

If it is a diving beetle larva, best is to remove it ASAP. They aren't nicknamed 'water tigers' for nothing...

i did remember seeing a fly landed on the rocks , it does resemble a crane fly

that Dytiscidae look very predatory , no it doesnt have legs
