    Trichopsis sp. (looks more like a female vitatta than a pumila)..... the so-called croaking gourami.

    Budak you're probably right, the shape a bit long for a T. pumila.
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    I was thinking its a croaking gourami. but looks alittle like a wild betta to me.

    Lyon, he meant your fish looks like a female croaking gourami Trichopsis vitata rather than a dwarf gourami Trichopsis pumila.
