    Hi guys,

Been trying to shoot this fish. It's about 2 cm in total length.

Can anyone confirm if it's a Hyphessobrycon sp.? Or better yet, has it been properly identified already?

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

looks like this one, Hyphessobrycon sp. 'Careiro'. Photo copyright RVA Yuji Sasaki.

why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Aiya..i thought you didn't get it...

It's still a young fish, and the Hyphessobrycon spp would turn out quite different once they grow...I had two small fish looked almost same as H copenlandi..but now confirmed different fish..turn out very different from my matured copelandi....

not much info on uncommon tetra actually..basically "sp" all the way..

this is a nice jap web about tetras....
