I just bought a hp-20 from Yishun 168 and install for my tanks with stainless steel air splitters ( 6 outlets ). All the air outlets are connected to airstone to supply different tanks. The temperature for the hp-20 after running for a while is found to be a bit hot when I touch it, is this normal?

A bit hot is normal. Very hot will be not normal and might be due to pressure build up due to insufficient outflow of air. You are connecting the 6 outlets to just normal airstone?
