Hi guys,
I've recently bought a the ADA Solar Mini lighting from Japan. The requirement for the lighting as follows:
Input Power/ AC100V (50Hz, 60Hz)
Consumption Power/ 20W
Consumption Current/ 0.39A
As we know the voltage output in Sg in at 220-240V, please advise if it's better to get a voltage converter or step down transformer in this case.
Or otherwise change the ballast to suit our local voltage output.
Appreciate your advise.

And where can i find the step down transformer? Sim Lim Square? My impression of a step up-down transformer usually comes in a huge metal box like.
Please advise.

well yeah, depending on the power that you want to convert. However, they do have electronic step down which is much lighter.

sim lim tower would be a better place.
as around the shops in the basement and the 3rd floor.
ask for 240-110ac converter with a power rating of 50~100watts.
