Saw the Ocean Free Zero Noise Z-1000 selling about $6 and Z-2000 selling about $10. Never use before but on the box, OF claim to be very silent.

Where to get this OCean Free Zeron Z-1000?
Think Eheim has a nice one I am using. 2 outlets. Even can control the amount of bubbles. Personally I'd rather branded air pumps as the advertised electricity consumption is prob more accurate as versus certain brands where they may consume more power and are less efficient. The money saved on the electric bill will make up the difference. Also, the reliability is prob better.
hi guys, i just bought the Ocean free z-1000 air pump, single outlet. it can be found in c328 and polyart. it is really up to now the quietest airpump i ever bought. v silent that i m using in my room.

Tomorrow will head over to NA to take a look.
Thanks.
Found and bought the z-1000 at Seaview..15% discount too.
Quiet does not mean it is efficient. There is always a trade off. I had a small cheap "Mouse" air pump that was pretty silent but broke down after a year in service since the rubber inside broke.
Eheim 3704 is value for money for those looking for something similar to a 4 outlet pump. I have both a 4 outlet Hailea pump and the Eheim 3704. The Eheim beats the Hailea hands down on both output and low noise. All you hear from the Eheim is a gentle humming noise.

bigboy 6000 is quite quiet. depends on where you place it also.
Oooo i saw the eheim. That is definitely a different looking pump. At first i thought it was some small filter.
I'm just using that dymax 1k. So far so good. Dual outlet.

Got the of pump and seems like not enough for my breeder tank. Think I need a much more powerful pump.
Any recommendation?
