Sexing should be narrow head - female, broad head - male.
Hello all,
I bought my first pleco, L200 yesterday. I have no experience whatsoever with plecos but I do rear cory's. I have a couple of questions that I would need help in as I would like to eventually breed L200's in my comm tank of cory's.
1. Most important question, how do i differentiate their sex?
2. How many L200 do I need to ensure a good breeding rate and a colony?
3. Are breeding caves a must?
4. Do i need to buy Hikari carnivore pellets? I'm currently feeding cory's Hikari algae wafers.
5. Will L200 do well in a comm tank with fishes or just their own kind?
These are my questions so far. There will be more coming as i start the hobby.
Will hopefully start posting pictures of the L200. Can't get good shots as it's always hiding.
