I'm using the HL 880CA (220vac) ... the same one as Teo's, for about a year now. I find the operations is simple and is reliable, as it has not given me any problem at all (touch wood).
You mentioned, if the equipment is suitable for your usage. That, I believe it largely depends on your required temperature setting. But one must know that the chiller would conceived more on your utilities bill (also depends on the frequency the compressor cuts in and the HP of your chiller to the water volume to cool).
Next you must ...and I mean must find a suitable place for the chiller to ventilate (read the manual).
The cost of a 1/4 HP Hailea will be at the region of upper $200s... I believe I've seen one at Teo's ...or issit a 1/8HP ?
