    Two of the shrimps turn yellow too. The same color as those yellow cherry shrimps. Drake, did you manage to breed your orange shrimps back then??

    Nope. I'm one of those who are convinced that they are purely brackish water breeders. I know there are some people who have claimed to have bred them in freshwater though. However, I am open to its possibility of breeding in freshwater if it is hard enough with the correct mineral balance. Though the zoea would require a slow transition to from salt to fresh water as they grow.

    Just bought 2 bags of Caridina Propinqua from Seaview over the weekend. Was quite surprised they cost much lesser than Sakura, given that they are hard to breed in captivity.

    Maybe an easy availability of it to the suppliers? I don't know, I've always wondered about that too.
