I'm just wondering whether we can we find (or genetically create) diamond-making bugs? Those teeny weeny stones cost a bomb!

Some folks I know hate all bugs (forgetting that without the billions of flies, bees, moths and other winged crawlers, we wouldnt have any fruit and many vegetables to live on), but here's one beetle with something to offer both the ladies and laddies (the engineers that is).
