may i know what type of hairgrass you using?
want to setup something similar for my lowtech tank
Very nice scape... Kudo to you...
But invest in a CO2 set and you won't go wrong...
I feel that your lighting is quite low @ 2.4wpg , anyway I'm a extreme high light lover
Cheers
Aquascaper?
Bro do you mind sharing the break down cost of the setup. Now trying to learn from bro & sis in this forum. Will be preparing to setup a tank in my new home 1year from now. By the way like the DW. Beautiful setup. Thanks.
Enjoying every mins of the process. Happy Shrimping.
Found this creepy crawler in my tank. No wonder my rotala seems to have so much leaves missing. Found rather a lot of them wrap up with leaves like a cocoon in the tank.

A small number of moth species have caterpillars that live underwater and feed on aquatic plants. Looks like you've got one such species.
Small is beautiful.

really nice scape! The water is crystal clear too. Where did you get the cherry shrimps?
Your tank is looking good! This shows that you don't need expensive gadgets like CO2 and high-lighting to have a great looking tank.
I would like to check with you on the following,
1)How often do you dose your excel a week
2)How much did you dose? And do you follow the recommended dosage on the instructions?
3)How often do you change water and how much each time?
