My betta very poor thing i think it must have been in poor condition at the farm. I bought it about a month ago. When i first brought it home i realized it had internal worm.. So i bought a dewormer. It didnt work so i bought a 2nd brand of dewormer. After 2 wks it finally recovered.. Today i found a threaad like thing near the base of its fin. Am pretty sure its an anchor worm. What's the most efficient way of removing it?

I am not too keen to remove it manually because I'm scared i might accidentally squeeze or kill my betta..
