Nice scape!
Saw one of your tank with rocks. Care to share what kind of rocks are you using?
I read rocks changes ph and Gh. How is your water perimeter?
The rock name is aku stone. For the ph and gh change, it depends of the rock for exemple seiryu has a lot of limestone so it will change the parameters.
There are rock like aku stone or ohko stone that either don't have limestone or a really low amount so they won't change water parameters or not enough to be serious.
For my parameters i never test my water because i use fulvic acide and minerals with osmosis water but the tank has been running with these stones since 1 and half year and i still have a lot of reproduction so no reason to test.
Nice tank and shrimp
What is the actual name of the rose moss?
I cant find any information about it..
Jungermannia pseudocyclop for rose moss and Blepharostoma trichophyllum for mini rose moss.
arrrgh i got mix up with the pics and names of the plants,
What interest me is the caloglossa cf beccarii.
Anyone seen the plant in sg?
Oh, ok.
Caloglossa is an algae you can use it like a moss.
For Sg i don't know but i bought mine in Hong Kong
Superb tank! And nice shrimp
what plant fertilisers do you use for your tank?
I don't use any. It's safer for the shrimps.
Nice shrimps! Might want to try some PRL once my CRS population stabilized haha. I see some red mosses, what are those?
It's caloglossa cf becarii it's an algae, but it grow like a moss.
Caloglossa cf. beccarii is easy to grow and it can stick to anything. and it might stick to plant and suckup plant life if plant are weak.
It can be difficult to grow if water quality is bad.
You need just 1 leaf to propagate.![]()
