Starting on Goldfish

Hi I am new to fish keeping although I have always wanted to do so for the past years. Now that I have some spare time (and cash) I would like to get some really nice Goldfishes. I have visited notable places like Qianhu, Mainland and some farms along Loyang as well as Nanyang in Seletar Farmway following research.

Can I check with fellow counterparts and fanciers where is a good place to get good Goldfishes or the less common ones like bubble eye or celestial eye? Those I saw in Mainland looked pretty sick and those in Qianhu are, well, not for sale.

Can someone please drop an advice when free? Thanks.

you can try seaview located at seletar west farmway 2 i think
they have plenty of goldfish of various size

found any goldfish that you like? the last time i went i saw straits aquarium with huge and nice goldfish

Many years back, I have keep Celestial Eye and Bubble Eye goldfish before (among others).

Goldfish are nice to keep, but have the disadvantage that they eat a lot and poop a lot and thus can make tank maintenance a real chore. But I suppose if one has a lot of hobby time, it should be no problem. It appears they can continue eating until they burst, lol.

When I had them, I used to do frequent 100% water change, and surprisingly, they were quite hardy fish. I suppose it's the good food that kept them going.
