That log was been removed few months back.
Felt it took up too much space, as I wanted to add more plants.
Also the Christmas moss on it was not doing well at all.
After removing it, condition of my tank actually improved.
Previously, the green & spot algea will re-appear on the sides of the tank
after just 2 days. 3rd & 4th day later, sometimes it got so bad can't see the fishes clearly.
Now, after 2 weeks without cleaning also no problem.
BBA also much less.
Guess with the log in there, there were a lot of dead spots, the water movement being obstructed.
too bad with the xmas moss.... really like it. But the last time i saw it was in your 4ft... which looked teriffic
The last 2 pictures, I like them very much. Is it a footer? What are the plants used?![]()

Sherwin,
It is actually a 16 inch cube, customed to sit exactly on the cabinet.![]()
Plants used are Christmas moss on the wood, Ludwigia arcuata & an unidentified plant that looks like the Rotala sp. 'Nanjenshan' according to Tropica. Foreground are Hairgrass.
David,
The Green tetras are doing just great, no fallout so far.
They are showing their green glow already.
The Farlowella is just simply great.![]()
this bugger really eats green spots.
It is 1 fish everyone should consider for their plant tank.
Hi ec,
