    K and N are from KNO3, K from KH2PO4 is too little.
    P is from KH2PO4

5 gram of Ca(NO3)2.4H2O on 50 gallon of water will give you ~14ppm of Nitrate
5 gram of KNO3 on 50 gallon of water will give you ~16ppm of nitrate

    Re: EI Dosing (Potassium Nitrate)

If that's the case, calcium nitrate will not be a substitute for potassium nitrate since there'll be no K source from the former. Right?

What would be a substitute for potassium nitrate then?

    Re: EI Dosing (Potassium Nitrate)

I hope potassium sulphate is not a controlled item like potassium nitrate then.

    For the following:

1/4 Teaspoon of Seachem Equilibrium (for traces and Calcium + Magnesium). (1.42 ppm Ca, 0.42 ppm Mg, 3.43 ppm K and 0.02 ppm Fe)

    1/8 Teaspoon of KNO3 (Potassium Nitrate) (5.27 ppm NO3 and 3.32 ppm K)

    1/32 Teaspoon of KH2PO4 (Potassium Mono Phosphate) (1.61 ppm PO4 and 0.66 ppm K)

How much of calcium nitrate and potassium sulphate are needed to replace the stated dosage of potassium nitrate?
