Anyone using Dr Mallick's Potassium Nitrate?

Hi.... my sera test kit does not register any nitrate reading on tap water added with Potassium Nitrate. Anyone has similar results?

don't be fooled. Same thing happened to me. I had bought the test kit and KNO3 from eco-culture so went back to complain. Turned out that you have to shake regent 1 & 3 before applying the drops. Once he did that, the "real" results appeared!

go back and try shaking the two bottles just before applying the drops

Found my answer.... my kit is faulty. Got a new kit and est again...I got soaring high nitrate now....sigh

Is the Sera Nitrate Test kit good? Whats the smalles measurement its gives you?

ANyone know of a better one or simpler one?
