hi guys...just wanna chk around.will it be a great diff if i jus use the black oyama paper and use scotch tape to attach to the back of the tank compare to using the sticky side(the supposedly correct side)???

can understand what im trying to ask?abit silly aye? :P

*cos behind my tank is the wall.very difficult and "lecheh".but if the difference in the effect is alot..then im willing to sacrifice...keke

Well you can do that to see if you like the effect. Once you've decided you want to stick it, use a spray-bottle of soapy water to wet the surface of the glass and sticky side of the oyama. That'll allow you to slide the sticker around and push out bubbles with a credit card. Then let it dry for a couple days. If you still find a few bubbles, you can use a needle and prick it, then push it down carefully.

My tank background now is a piece of black plastic art-board cuz I can't decide if I want a permanent black background.

ANOTHER way is cut black acrylic to the side of the back of the tank and place it there- secure with clipper. nicer flat- not bubbles

Get styrofoam rock wall from Darwin $10 for 2 2x1.5 ft boards. Cheap right?! Black is frankly getting boring IMHO.

Nice but tough time to clean it if infested with algae
