plants broke to half !

hi i have tis syptoms on my lud. sp.
the middle part of the stem , the leaves withered....
lower part roots grow out ....
then middle of the stem thinned off and eventually broke into half
the plants when i pluck out have veri little roots and the stem r soft .....

anyone know the cause of tis prob ?

Your current problem seems to be from some kind of deficiency or multiple ones. You need to let us know your tank parameters before we can help you zoom in on the actual problem rather than a wild guess.
