I have bought them in metal grill. Now that they have grown, how do I let it grow further onto the substrate. Please provide assistance and help in any way. Thanks!

it does't spread like plants such as glosso or HC if that wad you having in mind....you have to trim the existing fissiden and tie the fissiden onto new grill and repeat the whole process till it cover your whole tank base or whichever scape you desire.

and mini fissidens grow very slowly as compared to us fissidens.... so imho if you want to get a nice scape go for the us fissidens or you can get lots of mini fissidens cause waiting for them to grow will take 1/2 year for it to mature? lol....
Too much of a fish SIAO to quit fish keeping/fishing..
