Water parameter seems alright. 15L water change seems abit too much.

Not for me. too much CO2 and too little plant will cause pH drop and CO2 intoxication

As for fertiliser, most of them contain copper which is harmful to shrimps.

hi bro, FireReds tend to be bigger than CRS and are more aggressive. so i suggest you separate them. The FireReds might be bullying the CRS for food and space. your water parameter is ok.

That's an interesting observation. Never seen that personally.

Neocaridina's, by virtue of their faster rate of breeding, would normally out-compete the CRS and hog all the food. The only way is to feed often but overfeeding tends to occur in such cases.
Once you see that the fire reds are swarming the food in great numbers and the CRS are unable to feed, its best to separate them or move some of the fire reds to another tank

don know why my crs always disappear without trace...no dead body....that a question i still cannot solve currently. if say water perimeters are important. shouldnt be my fire red or sakuras die together with my crs? how come they multiply by hugh numbers. any expert views? my tank is 2.5 ft tank so with plentiful of mosss.. food should be good.

CRS are way more sensitive than the neocaridina species.. Alittle change in the water could affect the shrimps and stress them out.
