Rescaping the Choco-Cube

seeing the beautifull pics in AQ biotope albums, i decided to rescape my tank. I have only do a little change in the distribution of some plants and roots

Do keep the effect of a gravel stream path bordered by crypt thickets leading into the deep unknown! Very nice!

Are those vals at the back right? And a lone Hygrophila difformis? I think vals may overrun the place if left uncontrolled.

I would try a couple of Blyxa aubertii where the vals are, as these don't grow rampant (and easily send out plentiful flowers). Or you could try some Sumatran fern or Rotala indica. I won't add stuff like Hygrophila stricta or java ferns as the leaves are too similar in shape with the crypts.

Nice. But I find the tall plants (C. balansae?) at the back and the skinny branch distracting. I think the back needs to be filled up... perhaps with a small leafed reddish or different shade of green stem plant?

Overall, I really like the crypts and the path. The pebbles are a nice touch too.

Yes are vals... yes a only higrofila difformis... but it is there temporally.

I have used a Vallisneria spirallis beacause it look like Blyxa aubertii, this plant can´not found in Spain.
I putted a cuple of Rotala indica on rigth corner in front of vals and a other cuple of Ceratophyllum demeresum too.

I am planning to add a Criptocorine ponderiifolia on the dark hole between the left roots and balanse

In a few week we will see the result of the cripts, java moss, nynphea and apognogeton natans growing

Got "depth". I like it!
Better still if can hide the equipment. Or remove them when photographing for competition.
