Its better not to cross breed unless you know what you want or doing.
The biggest detriment of crossing CRS and BDS is brown coloured shrimps. There is high chance that it will come out...
Agree and no one can guaranteed that even if it does not come out on F1, it will not come out on F2 or later.
I bought 2 CBS which I believed were crossed, they were totally black when they were about 5-6weeks old but some brown stain start to appear on the black about nearly 3 weeks later.
Huge disappointment and will dump them into my pond when I fit a filter, will have to look out pure black one next time.
Some people said that their CBS and BDS crossed is still PRL, in my case, I will not buy such line as it can cause problem to the black and red color.

If you like these, then it is ok to mix
Which means that if i want to keep BDS, i would need to keep them in separate tank.
in that case those CRS with crown head or flowerhead are they PRL?

false assumption. crown head and flowerhead are just names describing the patterns. they are consider NORMAL crs
prl = pure red line, which means their genes are purely red without any crossing to any other shrimps before(eg snowwhite/golden/normal crs/bds) . usually their patterns are around A-SS types the most.
