I am using GTX-460 on my 20' LCD Tv it was less then $200 (used 4-5 months unit), also using the audio from there. Got a Nvidia when my old friends in sim lim told me ATI was less straight forward when it comes to audio support.
Think i will upgrade my PC again soon... just CPU and board thou.
@Ralliart12, Someone worked 2560x1440 during beta. Expect it to go further, since starcraft beta was toned down.
Anyway video card support list

I went to battlenet forums. Using google to search & opened a few hits that are from there.
IMHO, no lol. I only don't want to die and blame it on hardware. My tv is not very good & only does 720p native.

@Felix, I have narrowed down to the GTX560 or 550 ti. But nothing to test it on.
@Alvinchan: I was playing with my mid 2010 13" MBP, running on 8gb ram. Everything set to the lowest :P

your 2012 MBP will definitely be better. For me, not necessarily must have medium nor highest settings.

Just a GFX with onboard audio output. Like the GTX560 Ti
@Felix, it is a mid level GFX card

I'm struck, bought the gfx card and realised casing and psu got issue. Now thinking whether yo upgrade my entire system to a i7 system. Think I test out the actual game before I decide further

Simon,
Card too long and not enough pci-e?
Where did you purchase from?
I bought from Pc themes case and psu bundle. My team lead at work bought his 560 twin froze there also.

I had too many SATA connections :P, 8 to be exact. and the connectors are blocking the card. Then I found my PSU 600W, only came with 1 6 pin PCI-E plug.
so now I got 2 options;
1) Stick to my Duo core 2 system, upgrade PSU, casing and give up on 2 of my HDD (less than $400)
2) Upgrade my whole system.
I did a rough estimate last night, a new system of my own specification is 1.7k :P
Got my card (ATI Radeon) from Bizgram. I do my own DIY PC, been doing so since P1 era

Hi Simon,
8 connections ? You running Raid 1+0 ???
Not sure the current cards can even boot when running half powered using 1 x pci-e power.
Upgrade is cheap compared to 5-7 years ago. 1.7K can buy you a powerful pc running 1 GFX. (Btw, Ivy Bridge should be out this month)
You can opt for a full tower and keep your hdd or buy a cheap NAS and dump it in like i did.

New system specs includes 4x2tb hdd. I need plenty of storage.
My dilemma is the option of topping alittle more for a inaccurate![]()

Eventually went for an entire new system with the new ivy bridge i7+16gb ddr3, cm 800watts psu

I think AsiaSoft is handling the launch pretty poorly, i.e. register at 9am but earliest can only collect at 3pm. No guaranteed freebies, i.e. no poster, no T-shirt, no mousepad.

Nope, either I get my friend to collect for me; or I will collect from the original retailer (from which I bought from)the following day. Even right now I'm telling my friend that I feel the launch event is poorly arranged & I'll understand if he doesn't wish to collect from the official launch.
I believe they are trying to bet on the fact that the folks will not return home during the period from 9am to 3pm & spend some cash at their collaborating road show partners. Which is quite nasty for those who just wish to collect their games & go.
