yeah its a nice idea... i cant try to cover some of it.. but some will still be exposed.. cause the inlet pipe is connected to surface skimmer...

What is the big plant on the right side of the tank? It was already so big when u bought it? It's beautiful, will make a good centerpiece.

I think its calledAmazon Sword Plant. When i bought it , it was small with few leaves... it got bigger in 1 or 2 years.
Thanks, Yes i does look beautiful & green

Where did you get the tree bark from? Does it degenerate easily in water?

Your pictures of the new tank can't be displayed properly. Do check it.

Open for suggestion / constructive criticism
Thanks
Quite a simple but tidy scape. You have any intention of putting some foreground plant as the front patch is quite bare?

My 2 ft tank
Flora: Anubias barteri var Nana, var "Gold" and "mini", Crypto Wendtii, C.parva, Marsilea Hirsuta, Flame Moss, Hygrophila Polysperma, H.Violacea & H.Corymbosa, US Fissiden
Fauna: Guppy, Pelvicachromis Pulcher, Nannacara Anomala, Laetacara Araguaiae 'Buckelkopf'

Thanks Aquanoob..
Yeah i agree... As u see i did put some grasses.. but they don't seem to be doing well.. at least i don't see them multiplying
Any suggestion on foreground plants that grow easily
There are a few low tech foreground plant that you can google and see which one is more suitable for your scape. Marsilea Hirsuta is easy but I don't think will suit your scape. You can try those grass-like plant like Dwarf Sagittaria, Echino tenellus, Hairgrass, or my recent favourite non-demanding Lilaeopsis Brasiliensis. Or you may try the more challenging Glosso and HC

Thanks Bro for the suggested foreground plants.
Most LFS dont even know the names of plants they sell..
Probably will go to Jalan Kayu this weekend.. they have lots of varieties of plants. Will pick some & try. :-)

MY LFS suggested using half inch layer of fine ADA aquasoil on the foreground.. & the foreground plants will do better
So heres my attempt.. hope it works out...what do u guys think?

Its been almost a month & i don't see any growth in my Hair grass.. either Hair grass is a difficult plant or my light & nutrients are not enough..
I will wait for some more time..then consider getting some less demanding foreground plants![]()
