Best water perimeter for Aura blue?

Hi all,

Have been keeping aura blue for quite sometime.... But they are not really breeding, although there are eggs. I was wondering if the water isn't at the best for them. Currently, I'm keeping them with my CRS.. so far only 2 died after quite sometime..

Tried to look for information about them, but doesn't really help that much... i have seen people recommending to keep them at low PH but some said high PH would be better for them. So its rather contradicting and confusing. I don't know which to follow.

i would also like to know what other shrimps share the same water perimeter as the Aura blues.. I also notice that the Aura blue is pretty aggressive and hardy. Previously kept together with my CRS and they attacked my CRS.. So currently my Aura blues are kept in the breeder box temporarily.

First of all, I think your thread is posted at the wrong section.

Anyway I don't have any experience with aura blue shrimps. Based on my understanding, they should require the same water parameters of Crs.

Do you happen to have any test kits that you can share with us on the readings?

You also mentioned that you saw berried mama but don't seems to see the shrimplets. Anyway you might need to wait for longer period of time as they are very small and might be hiding all these while. You might want to wait for another month or so to check whether they are coming out for food.
