Yes but if you want to breed the channoides, not really unless you have a large tank with excessive plantings. The scooting cories will spook the otherwise peaceful channoides especially when the male is mouthbrooding.

HMPK should be fine with the Corydoras and Danios, but not with the Clown Killies. However, each betta's temperament will differ. If you have a particularly aggressive HMPK, it will go after everything in the tank.

Understood; well, I ain't going take any chances. I'm going to house mine in a large satellite tank (the 26cm-long, 2-litre capacity one from Sudo starpetz) that will be connected to my main tank. In this case, everybody's safe; everybody's happy.
