When do you intend to introduce fish?
Hey guyz So recently i've bought a new 34 gallon tank and i filled it with some gravel and normal tap water. I also bought a ph test kit and it showed that my water's PH is too high (Blue in colour). I then followed the instruction on my "Ph down"( a bottle of chemical that decreases the Ph) and added 10 ml of it for every 20 littres of water. At that point of time i didn't have a calculator with me (FAIL) , so i just added 20 ml of the solution and tested it again after an hour . But the test kit showed that it had a ph of 6.0 or lesser , way too acidic for my fishes ( Angel fishes). So can anyone please teach me how to increase the pH of my water ( best if it could be natural )?
Thanks in advance anyways

Water change again with tap water ?
Do a water change of about 1/3 and maybe can introduce oxygen (air pump) into your tank.
It helps.
Hmmm great I changed 1/3 of the water and the results were great . Now it's at 6.6( green )
Hi bro, read what is the required pH for the fish species you are going to introduce to tank. And if your tapwater pH is different you need to have a buffer capacity to minimize pH fluctuations when doing wc at later stage.
