Keeping blue lobster

saw 328 selling blue lobster I tried finding information about how to keep them howvever seems like its limited.

any kept it before?

I find them very easy to rear .. I bought 3 small ones .. In the end, they breed two generation .. Over packed with blue crayfish that i must give away .. Just alot of hiding place will do .. Or else they will be very very stress and start killing one another ... I am not sure about the PH or water parameter ... That was 3 years ago thing

I use pvc pipes for shelter, cutting them into 15cm pieces.

You need to first tell us some details like how many crayfish are you keeping, what size etc for us to tell you tank size. As for water level, it can be high, since they are fully aquatic.

I would like to keep 1 blue crayfish as well. how much it cost at C328? my 2 feet tank has 28 platies and a 15cm pleco. using H.E.L.P advance soil - plants. i hope it's suitable to add a blue lobster.

The blue crayfish should be Procambarus alleni or a color morph of P. clarkii. They are not exactly fish safe.

If they are either P. alleni or P. clarkii, you can keep 2-3 in a 2 ft tank or more with adequate hiding places.

I bought mine from C328 yesterday. Looks fierce in my 2 ft tank, sometimes chasing my 15cm pleco/sucker fish if it block its path. spent most of his time trying to get out of the tank. hopefully will settle down in a couple of days. bought a clay tunnel for it, but my sucker fish likes it more. so far it left my 28 platies alone. i was hoping he will catch and eat a few.. too many langkang fish caught from Qianhu by my kids. haha
