    Hi All,

Can I ask your advises if a Eheim 2215 can be run on a 3ftx1.5ftx1.5ft tank.
Low tech. no chiller. planning to aquascape with Hc and rocks and just about 50 tetras that's all.

Alternatively, can run 2215 on a 30cmx30cm shrimp tank. Chiller will be setup?

    Thanks for the advises.

It should be sufficient for a 3ft tank if you keep the bioload on the lower end, thought it might be too powerful for a 1ft cube tank. If you're adding a small chiller then it should be adequate for the cube tank.

Hc is not for low tech setup.

I'll be pumping light and co2, shadow. Perhaps not entirely low tech but I won't be hooking up any chiller in this 3ft.

Having chiller not called high tech.
    39w x 3 and co2 already I consider high tech.

I don't think the 2215 is sufficient. You'd need a 2217 minimum after you account for the head loss and media inside the canister. I ran a 2215 on a standard 2 footer and it was just nice so any larger a tank you will be under-filtrating.
