Sigh. Spotted one in my sakura tank. Tried to get rid of it but it's hiding now. Probably would have to wait for it hatch and by them would have gotten himself some nice sakura shrimplets.
Need something to scratch that itchy hand of mine.

I used a straw to suck it out.
I got those acrylic straw, i use my finger to cover one end of the straw and put the other end into the tank where the nymph is. Then when i remove my finger, it will create a suction to suck it into the straw and i have to quickly close back the hole with my finger to prevent the sucked nymph from flowing back to the tank.

These nymphs are very hardy. There was once, i used the chemicals for testing the 6 water parameters, mixed all together and put the nymph inside. It wont die! Lol...

Bro don't worry I have it also recently, although they will pray on shrimps which I have research online but never really see them eating my shrimps. I caught 30-40 of them in my 1.5ft tank. The biggest I caught is around 1.5cm-2cm hopefully is the last one.

Just to share my method in catching them I use the silicon air tube and injection to suck out once I saw it.
I am lucky to catch this due to floating plants I have. They love to hide. So got to search around to find them ever under the leaf of glosso or the stem. Is quite difficult to notice it. Cheers
Enjoying every mins of the process. Happy Shrimping.

Using a net much faster. When I caught the ones in my tank, I stunned them at night time with my tweezers.

Damselfly nymphs can swim very quickly in a fish-like manner. The best way to catch one would be with a net.
