may be able to fit in. could be tight fit. 55w pl tubes are almost 2’ long.
and you’ll need to change the e-ballast.
check out the tube prices from electrical shops or nature aquarium.

I am having this PL lights running E-Ballast. The light sets holds 4 X 36W tubes. I am tinking of converting the set to 4 x 55W. isit possible as i understand the 55w tubes are longer.
Pls advice.
BTW, does 55w tubes and 36w tubes differ in prices greatly?
