    Hi Guys,

Recently placed two 5cmx5cm mesh squares of weeping moss, one mesh square of mini pellia and a peice of bamboo covered in java moss into my 110litre tank.

im not that well informed into the moss growing area.. just wondering what tips anyone has in regards to helping it grow or at least preventing it from dying!

    My tank is 2ft x 1ft x 1ft ...

does the moss need to a certain height from the lighting? Does the lighting need to be on/off for a specific amount of time?
The moss is already tied down to a peice of bog wood.

Oh by the way, the water in my area is considered very hard!

any help would be great, cheers!!

your 2ft tank should be about 50litres ?
    For moss, I would suggest you use about 1.5-2 wpg ~ 30w 6000k-7200k light set around 8hr - 10hr a day
and dose liquid ferts into the water column .
temperature wise, shouldnt be a problem over in your area.

    Low tech tank FTW!
